had an amazin stay at anchorage guest house. the location is super close to the loch and restaurants, so we could walk everywhere. the room was really clean and comfy, and chloe was the best host, always ready to help. we loved chillin in the hot tub after our long days. breakfast was also great, cooked fresh!

the walls were kinda thin, so we heard some noise from other rooms. also, the bathroom door handle was stickin and could use some fixin.

Consider requesting extra towels upon arrival, as they may be limited later on.

I had a good time at this guest house. The hot tub was a real game changer, especially after a day of exploring. The bed was so comfy, I could just melt into it after a long day. Chloe? She was the best, cute us with open arms.

Plus, I found a fab little cafe nearby for brekkie, but the full cooked breakfast was a bit lacking—only one slice of bacon, really? Still, great value for what you pay!

It was just a solid selection for a trip in Balloch with great value for money. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to check the shower temperature before using it!

Exceeded expectations

The room was invitingly decorated, immaculate, and conveniently accessible. The area felt safe and was within walking distance of local attractions, which made it easy for me as a senior to explore Balloch comfortably.

More space in the rooms would be beneficial.

Gotta shout out the Lomond Fish Bar for a cracking fish supper! The juicy meat dishes from Cucina Ristorante were pure dead brilliant as well. Plus, the clean room and welcoming host topped off a good experience.

The walls were paper-thin – I could hear every wee chat from next door! The hallway towel situation was a bit dodgy, we ended up with none when we returned.
